OMG.... I really appreciate that everyone is excited for us, but I'm getting kind of tired of this question. Is that bad? It's even worse because this week and next week I'm traveling a lot to different centers for work, and have to answer the question over and over again. Oh well... I guess things could be worse! LOL...
So, this week, as I mentioned, I'm traveling. I'm on the road, taking my replacement around to our centers, and introducing him to everyone. It's fun, and it is what I love about my job. There are some frustrating aspects, though. I don't really want to get into what's frustrating just yet, but eventually I may. Let me just say... I have some new MOTIVATION and am definitely rethinking some of my decisions. I know what I now do not want to become, and some of the problems that I do not want to see myself as having. There... that's all I need to say.
This past Friday my mom made pizza for supper. I LOVE her homemade pizza. There are times that I eat it to the point of almost explosion. I am full, but still cannot stop eating, because I LOVE it. It's the bestest homemade pizza ever! Well, last week Mom made 3 pizza's, and I had only one slice Friday night. Then, throughout the weekend, when it was meal time I would eat another slice, but I did not eat more than that. Always in my mind, I thought, "Okay, I'll take this one slice, and then come back for more." I never did, though. I'm actually really proud of that. That is a big change for me.
At dinner tonight I ordered from the Simply for Life menu. I also ordered a salad with a Balsamic Vinaigrette. That was very different for me. I usually order a creamy dressing, and usually I'd order maybe something less healthy. My meal was a little dry, the chicken stir fry didn't have any sauce on it, really, but whatever. The salad dressing tasted good when mixed with the rice. LOL.
Here's to making more simple choices to be healthy! I know I can do it... one day at a time, right?
I also found a great blog - here... This lovely lady has had weight loss surgery in Korea. It looks like it could possibly become an option for me if nothing else works out. Derek's not too fond of the idea, but by the time I am able to save the money for it, I might be able to convince him. I guess he's just worried about me, and that's really sweet. Of course, I appreciate that. Please check out the blog, it's really interesting reading!
I also have a new blog... This is where I will update everyone on our experiences in Korea. I'm sure they're going to be very exciting!
